Water$ave Dust Suppression is a lineal, anionic polymer in powdered form. Unlike Super Absorbent Polymers, Dust Suppression is soluble in water, and even in very low concentrations increases the viscosity of the water.
The polymer permeates and aggregates fine particles, making them large and heavy enough that they won’t blow away or run off. The addition of a small quantity of Water$ave DS to your water cart will give superior results to using water alone.

Water$ave Dust Suppression is a fine powder that is added to the water cart and then agitated for a period of time before use to activate the polymer molecules.
Add the powder slowly while filling to prevent “gel blocking” which will leave undissolved blocks of polymer in the cart.
For best results the polymer/water solution should be circulated for at least 15 minutes prior to use. The solution should be recirculated if left to settle for more than 30 minutes.
APPLICATION RATES:
A small quantity will noticeably increase the viscosity of the water.
For light traffic, start with 100gm per 1000L of water. This will treat 350m2 – 500m2
For heavy traffic, start with 200gm per 1000L of water to treat the same area.
Dosage rates will vary from site to site, depending on traffic, wind, and soil type. The above rates should be used as a guide and tailored to the site’s unique requirements.
